British Transport Police has shared an image of a man they believe may have information which could assist in their investigation.
Officers investigating an incident of racially aggravated assault are today releasing this image in connection.
At just after 10pm on 2 August, a man began to racially abuse an Asian man on board an Elizabeth Line train.
When a passenger intervened on behalf of the Asian man, the other man punched the passenger in the face.
