Wavves, the Southern California rock band, has announced their upcoming album 'Spun', set for release on June 6 via their label Ghost Ramp. They've also debuted the single 'Goner', produced by Travis Barker and accompanied by a music video from Brandon Dermer, filmed during a charity show in Los Angeles. The album marks the reunification of frontman Nathan Williams with his longtime bandmates, following their 2021 LP. Wavves has also unveiled a North American tour to promote the new release.
Speaking about working with Travis Barker, Williams said in press materials: "I had this song I had been sitting on, always revisited it and tried to record it a bunch of times but it was never just right. Eventually it was giving me PTSD. I was talking to Travis about doing some songs together and when I opened up the vault to him, this one jumped out so we laid it down and finally we got it right."
Today, they've shared the Travis Barker-produced single "Goner," which arrives with a music video directed by Brandon Dermer. Dermer filmed the video at Wavves' recent wildfires charity show at Los Angeles venue Zebulon.
