Arsenal superfan Jeremy Corbyn urges respect at trophy parade as Met Police warns troublemakers face arrest
Jeremy Corbyn called for Arsenal supporters to enjoy the trophy parade while treating everyone with respect and avoiding problems or danger. He also urged fans to prevent large amounts of litter by putting it in bins or taking it home to help borough cleaning workers. The Met Police warned football thugs they would be swiftly dealt with if they tried to disrupt the parade. At least 500 officers, plus specialist drone and search teams, will be deployed to keep crowds safe, with attendance expected to be at least 500,000 and possibly near one million. Commander Stuart Bell said officers will respond to incidents and that anti-social behaviour, violence, or other criminality will not be tolerated.
