Authorities seeking 'male companion' seen leaving slain college student's Santa Clarita condo
Briefly

Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators are looking for a person of interest in the murder of 23-year-old CalArts student Menghan Zhuang. Described as a man in his 20s of Asian descent, he was last seen leaving her Santa Clarita condo shortly after her body was discovered with multiple injuries. Zhuang, who was known as Emily King, was found by her roommate, prompting a 911 call. Authorities urge anyone with information about the suspect to contact the Sheriff’s Department for the sake of justice for Zhuang's family.
We hope people will have the courage to come forward and help investigators identify the individual responsible for this senseless and violent act and help bring justice and a sense of closure to the family.
The suspect was seen entering Zhuang's condo the night before and then later leaving through a second-floor bedroom window on the afternoon she was found dead.
