See the 'Fire Elon Musk' ad the Washington Post scrapped from its Tuesday edition
Briefly

Common Cause paid $115,000 to The Washington Post for an ad calling for President Trump to fire Elon Musk, which was ultimately rejected without explanation. The ad aimed to highlight concerns over Musk's role as head of the new Department of Government Efficiency, featuring a provocative image and text questioning who is actually running the country. While the Post initially approved the ad, they later informed Common Cause of its rejection. The group expressed concern about the censorship and declined to run a smaller version of the ad.
"It's deeply concerning that our ad was censored and rejected without a valid reason," said Common Cause's president and CEO, Virginia Kase Solomón.
The ad features Elon Musk laughing behind an image of the White House and states in large text, 'Who's running this country: Donald Trump or Elon Musk?'.
