It was Matthew Judon's practice debut with the Dolphins, and he was seen wearing his No. 8 jersey after initially being listed on the online roster Wednesday morning as No. 91. Judon had an exceptional first day. He had back-to-back plays where he beat a tackle for a practice sack. One of them would've gone for a strip-sack. He also had a strong rep in pass coverage in team drills and was seen setting the edge effectively against the run.
TE Darren Waller had his first practice with his new team after coming out of retirement and being lifted off the physically-unable-to-perform list ahead of Wednesday drills. Waller did not participate in team drills, though. The orange jersey player at Wednesday's practice was C Aaron Brewer. On the first play of 11-on-11 action, QB Tua Tagovailoa underthrew a deep out to WR Jaylen Waddle. CB Jack Jones nearly intercepted it, but Waddle broke it up from behind.
