Heat's Tyler Herro caps off his memorable weekend with his first All-Star Game: 'Just super grateful'
Briefly

Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat had a standout All-Star Weekend in 2025, winning the Three-Point Contest and participating in his first NBA All-Star Game. Although his team, Kenny's Young Stars, lost to Chuck's Global Stars in a new four-team tournament format, Herro contributed six points and one assist in eight minutes. The game featured a target score instead of a clock, allowing for intense competition. Despite not scoring after a strong start, Herro expressed gratitude for the experience during this unique All-Star event.
It was a short quick burst, honestly," said Herro, who played only eight minutes in the game up to 40 points. "I broke like not even a half sweat.
Just super grateful to be here. It was the first time this format was brought upon us and it is what it is.
Herro scored six of his team's first 12 points, making his first two three-point attempts.
This season's All-Star Game looked different, featuring a mini-tournament with four teams for the first time.
