An employee stabbed the president of their manufacturing company during a staff meeting, police say

A 32-year-old employee of Anderson Express stabbed the company president during a meeting, prompting authorities to investigate if it was a potential copycat attack.

Police reported that Erik Denslow, the company president, was in serious but stable condition after the stabbing incident, which took place at approximately 9:20 a.m.

Nathan Joseph Mahoney, the suspect, had only been employed at Anderson Express for two weeks and was described by colleagues as having a quiet demeanor.

Authorities are looking into the possibility that the attack may have been influenced by the recent murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
