Copper Ceylon, an award-winning restaurant in Bromley, recently celebrated its five-year anniversary. Owned by Haran and Lavan Thurairajah, the restaurant is known for its vibrant atmosphere and Sri Lankan flavors. It has garnered numerous awards, including the Best Restaurant in London Suburbs at the British Curry Awards 2022. To celebrate, the restaurant hosted an event featuring Sri Lankan-inspired cocktails and a new menu created in collaboration with chef Marcus Wareing, highlighting traditional dishes. The event attracted several celebrity guests and underscored Copper Ceylon's commitment to community and culinary excellence.
The event was a celebration of everything Copper Ceylon stands for bringing people together to experience the warmth, flavours, and culture of Sri Lanka.
The new menu pays tribute to some of Sri Lanka's culinary traditions created by well-known chef Marcus Wareing and includes dishes like a fiery Jaffna Mutton Curry and Vegan Lemon Pudding.
