This hearing test is designed for those aged 18 and older, and should be taken in a quiet environment to ensure accurate results from the various tones played in each ear.
Apple suggests taking the hearing test at least annually, but encourages users to do it more frequently if they've been away from audiologists for too long.
To access the test, users need an iPhone with iOS 18.1 or later, and AirPods Pro 2 firmware version 7B19 or later; currently, it's only available in the US and Canada.
