JetBlue marked its 25th anniversary at JFK Airport, celebrating its evolution from a small airline to a leader in affordable air travel. Since its inaugural flight in 2000, JetBlue has maintained a focus on customer service and innovation, exemplified by its route from JFK to Fort Lauderdale, which remains in operation. The celebration featured events, a commemorative aircraft design called "BlueUnity," and recognition of more than 23,000 crewmembers. As the airline explores new growth avenues, it continues to enhance its services with new routes and destinations.
"As we celebrate 25 groundbreaking years of JetBlue, I'm filled with gratitude and pride for the remarkable journey we've taken together," said Joanna Geraghty, JetBlue's Chief Executive Officer.
The design honors the more than 23,000 crewmembers who have been integral to the airline's success over the years.
