During an intelligence-led operation, gardaí from the Coolock Drugs Unit seized a shotgun and over half a kilo of suspected cocaine, valued at €35,000.
The seized firearm was made safe and is being sent to the Ballistics Section of the Garda Technical Bureau for analysis.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed ongoing investigations, stating that the arrested man, in his 20s, is detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
The suspected drugs will undergo analysis at Forensic Science Ireland, as authorities continue to monitor the case.
