Man (40s) dies after 'incident involving vehicle' in Nenagh, Co Tipperary

A man has died in hospital after being found unresponsive at the scene of an incident on the R445 at Nenagh, Co Tipperary, last night. Gardaí say that they and emergency services were alerted to an incident involving a vehicle outside a premises on the Old Dublin Road shortly after 10.10pm.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was discovered unresponsive at the scene. He received medical treatment before being brought to University Hospital Limerick, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged. The scene was preserved for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have any information regarding the incident to come forward. Road users with camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, are asked to share this material with gardaí.
