More ticket barriers now arriving at Liverpool Street station
Briefly

The changes at Liverpool Street Station aim to enhance passenger flow by adding 24 additional ticket barriers, increasing capacity from 36 to 60, a 67% rise.
By removing small retail units, Network Rail is facilitating more space for ticket barriers, allowing crowds to spread out more effectively between the end of the railway and barriers.
The new gatelines are strategically positioned further into the station concourse, optimizing space by providing additional room for passengers as they navigate to trains.
The upcoming upgrades at the station will also introduce four wide access gates among the 24 new barriers, catering to passengers with different accessibility needs.
