Aisling Hassell, after a remarkable career with companies like Symantec and Airbnb, has founded Dāha, a wellness center in Sutton, Co Dublin. With a focus on self-care and growth, she draws on her extensive experience in customer service gained during her time in the tech industry. Hassell's journey reflects a shift from the high-pressure demands of corporate life to fostering wellness and personal development, indicating a fulfilling second chapter in her career.
"When Barack Obama was asked what was his most important career advice, he famously answered 'Get stuff done'," Aisling Hassell says and goes on to sum up her own career in top tech companies with a laugh: "I became known for getting stuff done."
The dynamic blonde had a phenomenal career, mainly with Symantec and Airbnb; she travelled extensively and often worked 12-hour plus days. She's now retired from all that but is still getting stuff done in her new role as founder and owner of Dāha, a wellness centre she's built in Sutton.
Dāha is completely different to what she's done before but she's bringing all her expertise, particularly in relation to customer experience, to the centre.
