The project transformed a family property to include a residential area and a commercial space, fulfilling the client’s vision for a yoga and therapy retreat. The architects redesigned the original house’s facade into two separate entrances to maintain privacy and enhance natural light for the homes. A new wooden pavilion in the backyard allowed for a spacious yoga room while using materials such as ceramics and bamboo. The design included a sensory corridor to provide a transitional space, creating a unique urban oasis in the city.
The project aimed to create a segmented property featuring a residence and a commercial space, with the client envisioning it as a yoga and therapy retreat.
To achieve privacy and ample natural light for the residential space, the façade of the original house was transformed into two separate designs with distinct access.
The new wooden pavilion in the backyard expanded usable space for a spacious yoga room, created an urban oasis with materials like wood, bamboo, and ceramics.
