Chad Harmer and Aly Justice of Modern Organic Design undertook the task of staging a three-bedroom home in Bowmanville, Ontario, to attract families. Their approach focused on creating a warm, inviting atmosphere by replacing darker decor with lighter tones and more contemporary furnishings. Minor cosmetic changes, such as updating textiles and furnishings, were made to create an illusion of brightness and spaciousness. This thoughtful staging approach aimed to broaden the home's appeal beyond its initial bachelor pad status, making it appealing to family buyers in the area.
"I think a lot of the furniture choices and overall textiles and textures that are picked in there just give the illusion of it being lighter and brighter."
"They wanted to make the home 'a warmer spot where families would walk in and immediately feel at home.'"
