A teenage boy has been charged in connection with an incident where a woman was allegedly raped near a church in Harrow-on-the-Hill, raising community concerns.
Detective Sergeant Phil Inman recognized the incident's impact, stating, "this incident will cause much concern and anxiety in the area, especially for women and girls."
Police were called to the attack on Church Hill around 11:45pm on November 2, leading to forensic investigations at St Mary's Church cemetery.
The 16-year-old boy was arrested on November 4 on suspicion of rape, kidnap, and attempted robberies, and is now appearing in court.
