Earlier this year, Arundel was rated as one of Europe's most relaxed spots by TravelSupermarket, with its countryside links, quaint cobbled streets and 156-year old cathedral.
The town is probably best known for its historic castle, with parts dating back as early as 1068, along with 40 acres of beautiful gardens which play host to its popular annual Tulip Festival every year.
With its festive markets, local artisans and plethora of independent shops, Arundel is also a prime place to visit for a spot of festive shopping in the lead up to Christmas.
Craft lovers can find the Christmas Arts market at the Norfolk Arms, a 200-year-old coaching inn, where you'll find a plethora of gifts by various artists, from jewellery to paintings.
