From the moment we stepped into Phantom Peak, we could feel that things weren't quite right in the best possible way. The town had transformed for the Halloween season, with thick fog rolling in and unsettling music.
Phantom Peak has always been good at throwing these weird, out-of-left-field scenarios at you, and it just adds to the fun. Everywhere we turned, the town had these little Halloween touches that made it feel like we were in the middle of a horror video game.
The quests this time round were eerie and had spooky storylines, with cryptic clues and odd interactions with characters who seemed a little too comfortable with the supernatural.
Right from the start, the cast of quirky characters nailed it and continued to be consistent and engaging throughout the four hours. The opening show set the tone with a mysterious incident that had the whole town buzzing.
