A U.S. Navy parachutist, part of the Leap Frogs team, injured a mother and daughter during a public demonstration at San Francisco’s Marina Green during Fleet Week.
The parachutist intended to land on the Marina Green but instead landed on a group of spectators, resulting in minor injuries to a mother and her daughter.
The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed the mother and daughter were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the incident.
An investigation is underway, with officials stating, 'We cannot immediately assess what happened; however, we will review this incident to determine the cause.'
