Samsung announced its Z Fold Special Edition yesterday as a souped-up version of the Z Fold6 with larger displays, a sleeker profile and a 200MP main cam.
Rather than considering it (Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition) a premium product, it's a product released to expand your options. You can choose according to your taste.
Samsung reportedly had an early Z Fold6 FE production run which yielded unsatisfactory results - the test devices weren't substantially thinner or lighter than competing foldables from Chinese brands.
As of now, we have no plans to release a separate product with a lower price.
