"I thought they were beautiful and poetic. They were wonderful, but I gave them back," said Dan Gilroy about the letters he penned to sell.
"She insisted that she's very protective of her writing," referring to Madonna's strong feelings about keeping her personal letters private.
Gilroy reminisced on their first date saying, 'She did all kinds of funny things,' highlighting her fun-loving and expressive nature.
He recalled Madonna expressing her desire to be noticed, stating, 'In fact, after she made it, Madonna said to me, 'I used to.'"
