They Are Gutting a Body of Water are preparing a new mixtape following their 2025 album LOTTO. A new single, “charter spec.,” was released as a collaboration with Horse Jumper of Love. The track combines noisy and melodic elements. Douglas Dulgarian of TAGABOW wrote, sang, and played guitar and keys on the single, and directed the accompanying video. The band also announced a fall tour for 2026 that includes a stop at Philly’s Making Time ∞ fest. The tour features major headlining shows starting October 29 in Baltimore and ending December 18 in Philadelphia. Tickets go on sale May 21 with presales beginning May 20.
