On the night of February 22, a 40-year-old man dining at a restaurant in Flushing was viciously assaulted with a hammer by four assailants who also robbed him of $1,000. Along with two 16-year-olds, the victim was confronted by the suspects, who forced them to the ground and struck the man before escaping. The police responded quickly and dispatched EMS, who took the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was reported in stable condition. The attackers have not been apprehended, and the NYPD has released surveillance images for assistance in identification.
