Democratic challenger slams Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman's support of Trump's tariffs
Briefly

Seth Koslow, the Democrat candidate for Nassau County executive, criticizes incumbent Bruce Blakeman for supporting President Trump's tariffs, which he claims harm the stock market and threaten economic stability. Koslow specifically mentions that the tariffs target allies like Israel and accuses Blakeman of lacking courage. In defense, Blakeman insists he supports the tariffs for job creation and economic security in America. As stock markets show significant declines following tariff announcements, the candidates gear up for the general election on November 4.
It's disgusting that Bruce Blakeman stood there clapping as President Trump slapped an arbitrary tariff on Israel. What a phony.
This isn't about left or right or Republican, Democrat. It's about 401(k)s. Bruce Blakeman was at the White House cheering on these tariffs.
I continue to stand with organized labor and the working men and women of Nassau County in supporting job creation and economic security here in America.
While we all share concerns about the stock market, we will be a stronger and better America if more jobs are held by Americans.
