NYC congestion pricing will take a toll on Chinatown businesses, critics argue

Retired judge Kathryn Freed criticized the toll, stating that it could force the historic Chinatown community out of existence, labeling it as a money grab and smoke and mirrors.

Queens Councilman Robert Holden emphasized that the toll will increase business costs, which will be passed on to consumers, ultimately leading to a rise in overall prices.
