Christian Gonzalez already in midseason form during Patriots OTAs
Briefly

In 2024, cornerback Christian Gonzalez made a significant impact during the New England Patriots' offseason practices, demonstrating his skills by intercepting passes thrown by quarterback Drake Maye. After a challenging rookie season, he has refocused his training, including new exercises like pilates, and has welcomed a new coaching staff led by Mike Vrabel. Gonzalez enjoys the positive energy and enthusiasm that Vrabel brings, feeling optimistic about the upcoming season as he adapts to a new defensive system alongside teammate Carlton Davis.
"Got two off of [Drake]," Gonzalez said with a smile after practice. "Two different coverages. Both where I got to see the quarterback so that helps as a DB. Just saw the ball and went and go get it."
"A lot of new faces, but I mean we're rolling. Love playing for Vrabel so far, great energy," Gonzalez said. "Everything you see on TV, that's exactly what you get."
