A 13-year-old boy was slashed in the face after an argument in Coney Island. The incident occurred before 8:15 a.m. near Neptune Avenue and West 5th Street. A witness, Ibrahim Sehovic, described seeing the aftermath and said, "My first thought was that they were in a fist fight scuffle. Then I saw a kid's face he was leaking he was bleeding all over." There are schools about a block away from the scene, and it is unclear whether the injured boy attends any of them. Emergency responders transported the boy to Coney Island Hospital. Police report that he is in stable condition.
