"STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Police are investigating a report that a car was stolen in Westerleigh overnight into Wednesday morning. A 33-year-old man told police that he parked his 2018 Jeep Cherokee at the curb on Levit Avenue near Devens Street around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a spokesman for the NYPD's Deputy Commissioner of Public Information. When the victim returned around 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday, the car was missing."
"The car has not been recovered and the investigation continues, according to the spokesman. No description is available for the suspect at this time, police said.
