The crash was reported at approximately 2 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the NYPD. The driver of one vehicle attempted to change lanes and make a right turn onto Forest Hill Road, but collided with another vehicle, the police spokesperson said.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - A slow-moving coastal storm will bring potentially dangerous flooding to Staten Island and the broader New York City area, with conditions expected to worsen through Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service. Brian Hurley, a meteorologist with the Weather Prediction Center, said coastal flooding poses the greatest threat from the storm system, with inundation levels reaching 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 feet above ground level in the most vulnerable waterfront areas during high tide cycles late Sunday night and Monday afternoon.

Damien Hurstel, 19, allegedly calmly admitted to cops at the NYPD's 120th Precinct that he fatally bludgeoned Anthony Casalaspro, 45, over the head with a meat tenderizer because he wanted to know what it was like to kill someone, sources told The Post.

The front end of a white Rivian SUV struck the side of the McDonalds located at 2154 Hylan Blvd. near Midland Avenue while in the parking lot of the restaurant. According to a bystander who saw the aftermath firsthand, the incident occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday. The eyewitness told the Advance/SILive.com that the SUV was in one of the curbside pickup parking spots on the Hylan Boulevard side of the restaurant.

Three men were killed in a crash on the Staten Island Expressway just before 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 5, police sources said. A 2015 Chevrolet Cruze heading westbound on the major thoroughfare forcefully hit a barrier and flipped off the roadway. EMS responded to the horrific crash and pronounced all three passengers in the car, men ages 25, 26 and 27, dead at the scene. As of Sunday morning, police were withholding the names of the victims pending family notification.
