Officer Yvonne Wu, 34, pleaded guilty to one count of Manslaughter in the First Degree and one count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree for shooting and killing Jamie Liang with her NYPD-issued service weapon.
The parties recommended a 27-year prison sentence, consisting of 22 years for Manslaughter and five years for Attempted Murder, to run consecutively, along with additional conditions including post-release supervision and an order of protection for Ms. Li.
