A man was pushed onto the subway tracks at a Midtown station on Saturday night. He suffered injuries to his face and legs but managed to get back onto the platform. Photos reveal he was bleeding from the knee and had an abrasion on his forehead while being treated by emergency personnel. Bystanders came to assist him, and he was seen smiling as he was loaded into an ambulance. The man has been taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Authorities are searching for a suspect.
The straphanger suffered facial injuries and leg injuries but was able to make it back onto the platform before coming into contact with a train.
Photos show the straphanger dripping blood from the knee and with an apparent abrasion on his forehead as he is wheeled out of the train station by the FDNY.
Fellow New Yorkers also came to the aid of the man in distress, photos showed.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
