"According to police sources, a 45-year-old man was brutally attacked at around 1 a.m. on Oct. 27 in front of an apartment building located at 371 Van Siclen Ave. in East New York. An eyewitness walking home told cops that he saw the victim arguing with three men before one of them brandished a knife and began stabbing him. The 45-year-old was stabbed multiple times, including in the head and abdomen."
"However, the attackers were not done there. One of them was spotted holding down the victim while another removed the victim's jacket, backpack, watch, and cellphone. While the assailants fled westbound on Sutter Avenue, EMS rushed the victim to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in critical but stable condition. Police say they later recovered surveillance video of the trio, who they believe to be responsible, riding an A subway train."
