Unsolved murders in south east London including Petts Wood park stabbing
Briefly

The tragic case of Max Moy-Wheatley, who was fatally stabbed at 19 in Petts Wood, faces ongoing investigation challenges. Initially, two suspects were charged but the Crown Prosecution Service later discontinued the case. Detective Inspector Adam Guttridge assures the public that the investigation remains active and open to new information. Max's sister, Tasha, described her brother's character and expressed the family's grief at the lack of information regarding his murder, emphasizing the trauma of not being able to comfort him in his final moments.
Nearly a year ago today in this very place, right here, my little brother took his last breath after being stabbed in the heart. Max may have been 19 but he was just a kid.
As a family we didn't get the opportunity to hold his hand or comfort him in his last moments as he never left the park alive. We'd give anything to have been able to hold his hand or just see his face one last time.
