A 27-year-old man had invited another man from the gay dating app over to his apartment when the visitor suddenly blurted out, "I hate all people." The unidentified attacker then allegedly pulled out a knife and started stabbing the unsuspecting apartment dweller throughout his body.
Police found the visitor unconscious and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 27-year-old man suffered multiple lacerations and was deemed serious but stable at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
It's unclear whether the 27-year-old man will be charged or if his alleged actions will be viewed as self-defense, as two knives were recovered at the scene.
