Chicopee Mayor John L. Vieau called the crime scene 'horrific,' highlighting the tragedy of the incident and acknowledging concerns about domestic violence.
The mayor conveyed sorrow, stating that the news is 'reassuring' as no other suspects are sought, yet noted the sadness surrounding this 'senseless act of violence.'
