TikTok launched Travel Ads after months of testing to move users from trip inspiration to actual bookings for flights, hotels, and activities. The platform enables travel brands to promote offerings and target users who engage with travel content on the app. Travel-specific optimization models identify high-intent audiences ready to book and match offerings based on in-market activities and preferences to boost relevance, engagement, and campaign performance. Early testers include Expedia Group, Accor hotels, Meliá Hotels International, Etihad Airways, and Sunweb. The capability was previewed at Skift's Megatrends event in January.
