Authorities in Fremont are investigating the discovery of two mutilated animal remains found at the Centerville Train Station. Police were alerted by Amtrak officers to the remains, which were left on a park bench; one seemed decapitated and eviscerated. Additional bags containing another decapitated animal and possible internal organs were also found nearby. A forensic veterinarian has been engaged to assist in identifying the species and cause of death.
