Just after 3 p.m., Fremont Police Officers responded to the "major injury collision" - which happened at the intersection of Cushing Parkway and Northport Loop East - involving a pickup truck and a motorcyclist, according to a press release from Fremont Police. "The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to a local area hospital," according to the press release. "The driver of the pickup was uninjured and remained on scene."
A Morgan Stanley real estate investment unit, acting through an affiliate, has paid $110.3 million for a two-building tech complex on Osgood Road in Fremont, documents filed on Jan. 6 with the Alameda County Recorder's Office show. San Jose-based Western Digital Technologies, a data storage company, is the tenant in the two-building tech campus, whose addresses are 44100 and 44200 Osgood Road in Fremont, public records and the company's website show.
On a recent Wednesday, about a dozen customers lined up inside Bun Appétit Donuts just after 8 a.m. to scan the nearly 30 savory and sweet doughnuts, croissants and stuffed malasada-style pastries displayed behind glass. Classic sprinkle and glazed doughnuts were nowhere in sight, but these loyal patrons already knew that. They were up early for the store's elevated brioche doughnuts, including house favorites such as tiramisu, guava cheesecake and "everything," a savory doughnut like the bagel.
