Didomi has acquired Sourcepoint, originally an anti-ad-blocking solution, which has now evolved as a competitor focusing on privacy compliance and consent. Both companies share a vision that emphasizes the importance of solving privacy issues in the industry. Didomi's acquisition, supported by Marlin Equity Partners, marks its second acquisition within two months, following its purchase of Addingwell. Plans indicate a careful approach to integrating technologies over the next two years, with no existing overlap in client rosters between the two companies.
We both believe that privacy is fundamental and it's an important problem that the industry needs to solve. That's the bottom line.
There are parts of our product offering that could perhaps benefit from further acquisitions, so we'll stay opportunistic, but we don't have anything else planned for the time being.
Instead, the plan is to take their time building a single unified platform that combines Didomi's and Sourcepoint's tech and to do it slowly over the next two years.
Didomi works with around 1,500 companies across Europe and Canada, while Sourcepoint has its own distinct clientele, creating virtually no overlap.
