Crowds line up as the iconic Bob's Donuts moves to new location in San Francisco
Briefly

The grand opening of Bob's Donuts and Pastries in San Francisco attracted significant excitement, drawing long lines ahead of the event. Co-owner Aya Ahn revealed the move to a bigger location was essential for efficiency and future planning, especially since a lease agreement couldn't be reached at the original site, which had been open since the 1950s. While the transition brings bittersweet feelings for the Ahn family, known for their fresh, handmade donuts, customers eagerly anticipate the new venue's offerings, which include a variety of classic and unique flavors.
"We're so excited for the new Bob's Donuts. This is one of our favorite places. It's so iconic in San Francisco," said resident Nancy Louie.
Co-owner Aya Ahn mentioned they're moving because the new spot is bigger, more efficient, and allows for better business growth, given they could not agree on a lease.
Her daughter Rebekah expressed mixed emotions: "It's definitely bittersweet but we're really excited to be here in this new location."
Steven Sessions noted the benefits of the new location: "It's closer to my house so I'm happy with that. It should be good."
