Tastebud, a popular Portland pizzeria, is set to reopen its dining room after five years of operating as takeout only due to the pandemic. Owner Mark Doxtader expressed excitement over answering the most common question from customers about when the dining room would reopen. The grand opening celebration from January 29 to February 1 will feature food and drink specials, along with giveaways. Other notable openings include vegan Chinese restaurant Jade Rabbit, Brave Neighbor coffee shop, and Ken's Artisan Bakery Annex, reflecting a vibrant local food scene.
"It is so nice to finally have an answer to my most frequently-asked-question since 2020: 'When will you open the dining room again?'" said owner Mark Doxtader.
Ichiza's fans are reportedly overwhelming the new restaurant, so be warned: Get a reservation or expect a wait.
Brave Neighbor just opened next to the Spin Laundry Lounge. It pledges to be a 'living room for the neighborhood'.
Dubbed Ken's Artisan Bakery Annex, it promises 'bread, pastries and a limited lunch/ breakfast menu.'
