Mission Science Workshop is a thriving non-profit community science center that engages San Francisco's youth and families with hands-on science activities that are both educational and fun.
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, the Mission Science Workshop opens its doors for a free open house, allowing families to explore engaging science projects, meet live reptiles, and discover various biological and geological collections.
Attendees can build toys and projects during the open house, hold snakes and lizards, and learn about collections such as bones, fossils, rocks, and scientific instruments.
While the open house is free, donations are appreciated, ensuring that the Mission Science Workshop can continue providing accessible science education for the community.
