Trust Records is reissuing 7 Seconds' influential hardcore punk album along with a new remix by Ian MacKaye and unreleased tracks from the 1985 recording sessions. This special release, combining 'New Wind' and 'Change in My Head,' will be available on digital platforms and in stores on May 23. In celebrating this reissue, frontman Kevin Seconds reflects on the band's evolution during a transformative period in the mid-1980s. Additionally, Kevin Seconds and MacKaye will engage in a discussion at an event prior to the release date.
The whole time period, between the winter of 1985 and all throughout 1986, was arguably the most important and life-changing period for 7 Seconds.
Change in My Head is billed as a unique snapshot of the essential Reno band that restores never-before-released tracks from their New Wind recording sessions in 1985.
