On March 25, after 20 years of hidden suffering, a rescue revealed a man who had been held captive by his stepmother, revealing systemic abuse.
The police stated that the victim, found at 68 pounds, suffered unthinkable abuse, confined and neglected, marking a case of horrific domestic tragedy.
