'Good Cop/Bad Cop' is an hour-long police procedural featuring a brother/sister detective duo working for their father in a small Washington town. Although the title seems generic and uninspired, the show demonstrates a level of self-awareness that makes its flaws more tolerable. Leighton Meester shines as the lead, adding depth to an otherwise familiar premise. While it lacks the satire that might be expected from such a title, the execution allows it to stand out in a crowded genre.
