"Kiefer Sutherland was arrested in Hollywood early Monday morning after allegedly assaulting his ride-share driver, NBC News reports. The Emmy-winning star of 24 was detained around 12:15 AM in Hollywood near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue. "The investigation determined that the suspect, later identified as Kiefer Sutherland, entered a rideshare vehicle, physically assaulted the driver (the victim), and made criminal threats toward the victim," LAPD officer Kevin Terzes said."
"The victim reportedly did not suffer any serious injuries or require medical treatment. Sutherland, 59, was booked into jail after 4:00 AM and given a $50,000 bail. He bonded out several hours later and is scheduled to appear in court February 2nd on unspecified felony charges."
