"A 25-year-old Brampton man has been arrested in connection to a fatal assault at a Brampton parking lot last week, said Peel police. The man and a victim had a verbal dispute, which escalated into a fight, at a parking lot near Castlemore Road and McVean Drive on Jan. 12, said Peel Regional Police in a news release. The victim sustained serious injuries from the assault and later died in hospital on Jan. 15."

On Jan. 12, a verbal dispute between a 25-year-old Brampton man and another person in a Brampton parking lot near Castlemore Road and McVean Drive escalated into a physical fight. The victim sustained serious injuries during the assault and died in hospital on Jan. 15. Peel Regional Police arrested the Brampton man and charged him with manslaughter. The accused is being held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice. Police have urged anyone with information to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers.
