Flights at Calif. airport delayed for hours due to fog. It's not SFO.
Briefly

"We've had quite a bit of fog this year, but it's not unusual to have fog. When we have delays, it's due to poor visibility typically. And that heavy, thick fog is causing that," Nicole Hall, a spokesperson for San Diego International Airport, told SFGATE.
"We're trying to figure out how much, if at all, the fog bank is going to lift to allow a little better traffic flow in and out of San Diego. We do believe that there's probably gonna be some very minimal improvement, tonight into Saturday and again Saturday night into Sunday, but right now, our confidence is not exactly that high, so we could still have some pretty low visibility," weather service meteorologist Miguel Miller said.
